Belgrade, Serbia — Serbian technology startup Hydrogen Dynamics d.o.o. is developing a modular alkaline electrolyzer designed for efficient and cost-effective production of green hydrogen. The solution is based on 10 kW electrolyzer modules that can be combined into systems with a total capacity of up to 1 MW, enabling flexible deployment for small and medium-scale hydrogen producers, industrial users, and decentralized energy projects.

As part of the current development phase, the company’s team has successfully developed and tested an MVP (minimum viable product) electrolyzer stack, which in laboratory conditions demonstrated around 10% higher energy efficiency compared to widely used commercial electrolyzers. In addition to improved efficiency, the developed concept also shows significant potential for reducing production costs, which remains one of the key challenges in the development of the green hydrogen market.

The next stage of the project involves the development of a fully integrated standalone 10 kW electrolyzer, which will serve as a reference system for further technology validation, pilot projects, and discussions with investors and strategic industrial partners.

By focusing on cost efficiency, modularity, and system scalability, Hydrogen Dynamics aims to develop a technology capable of meeting the needs of the rapidly growing green hydrogen market while contributing to the energy transition and the decarbonization of industry.

Hydrogen Dynamics will also present its technology as an exhibitor at the international hydrogen event – H2 Belgrade Conference 2026, taking place 17–18 March at the Hyatt Regency Hotel in Belgrade. . During the event, the company will showcase its development project and engage with potential partners, investors, and industry representatives regarding the further development and deployment of modular electrolyzer systems.
